Greg uses the household stain remover and disinfectant, Borax, mixed with sugar and honey and it makes for a truly natural but lethal combination.
Here’s what you’ll need for the Borax mixture:
- Hot water
- 6-8 teaspoons of Borax
- 6-8 teaspoons of honey or sugar
- Cup for mixing
- Spray bottle

Be careful, because this mixture can make pets and animals sick, so it’s important to prevent them from licking it. To ensure safety, Greg fills up a bottle cap with the Borax mix and hides the pot on top to stop any animals from getting to it. The ants will still find it, and “go berserk.”
