Try Home Remedies for Pimples for Great Results
Home remedies for pimple removal offer a safe, effective alternative to harsh prescriptions. Most people think acne appears only in teens, but the truth is, adults can suffer from acne at any point in their lives. While acne is most common in teens due to changing (and excess) hormones, many adults suffer from acne too. Pregnancy and postpartum are another time that women suffer from acne breakouts.
Harsh medicines like Benzoyl Peroxide and Glycolic Acid lend more problems then they are worth. Harsh chemicals dry out your skin which often lead to red, peeling skin that end up with even more breakouts. These chemicals can easily damage the skin and sometimes that damage does not become apparent for years or even decades down the road. Stay away from harsh chemicals and opt for safer, more effective, and fast, home remedies for pimples.
There are many quick remedies for acne that are not only natural, but fast, safe and effective. These remedies will leave your skin healthier than when you started. Some home remedies take longer than others to completely clear all signs of acne. So be patient! Remain diligent and you will see results.
For acne breakouts, I frequently recommend throwing away your expensive skin care products. As a skin care therapist, I always suggested people use home remedies for pimples instead of selling them pricey skin care products. Why? Because they work!
I can tell you my clients absolutely LOVE home remedies. For pimples, as well as many other common skin problems, there are several. Here is a fast acting and effective protocol: Get a mild wash like Miracle 2 Green Soap. Mix that with some turmeric and wash your face 2x a day. If you are very active or sweat a lot, consider using this 2x a day. The turmeric will help kill the bacteria on your skin. Always cleanse your face 2x in the morning and at night. The first wash removes surface oil and dirt. The second wash will actually get deeper into your skin. Use cold water to rinse in between cleanses.
Tone your skin with undiluted Bragg’s apple cider vinegar. Put some on a cotton ball and run the cotton ball over your face and neck. Your skin may flush red for 10-20 minutes and this is normal. Consider using a teeny tiny bit of coconut oil as a moisturizer.
Home remedies for pimples when they are infected
If your pimples are really bad, infected or cystic, consider using garlic. Jocelyn K. Masters, in her post titled, “Super Fast Acne Breakouts Do-it-yourself Solutions” recommends home remedies for pimples the following suggestion:
“Clear Your Acne along with Garlic
Frighten away acne as well as vampires of the underworld (and maybe your own significant other as well) with this garlic remedy. The smell is actually not too bad. Garlic works because it has powerful antimicrobial properties that you could utilize against bacteria. Have a garlic clove as well as mash it up. Spread the past over problem areas as a spot therapy. Repeat many times a day. Note, only put on trouble spots because garlic can sting if you place it upon open injuries.”
Here is a youtube video for using garlic on acne (and it helps keep away vampires too).
