We hear all too much about what you have to do to lose weight. I have discovered one proven way to lose weight…Fail often.
I have come to terms with media lies, medical disinformation, and propaganda that prevents you from getting into your skinny jeans.
At some point you being to learn that hype doesn’t work much. Diets are okay but not the real way to deal with what has happened to make your body the way it looks right now. Excess fat really isn’t the problem. It comes down to how your eating has messed up your lymphatic system, endocrine system and hormone balance.
Failing makes you fed up. You become fed up with the lies. Fed up with the lack of results and fed up with feeling fed up! Being fed up fuels wanting something better for yourself and you are less likely to settle for less.
Good for you!!!
Now, let’s separate out the lies from fact.
Here are 5 reasons you are still overweight despite your efforts:
- Health Food Junk Food
Health food stores have just as much unhealthy food in it as regular grocery stores…the difference? The price tag. Health food stores cannot be trusted to keep you healthy. Health food stores stock as much GMO produce as other grocery stores. Their products are filled with sucralose, high fructose corn syrup, and MSG.
All of these contribute to weight gain and prevent fat loss. Because some of the ingredients on boxes sold in health food stores sound healthy, you will find many of the ingredients are still made in a lab by chemists.
They Said It Best: “Some people have a foolish way of not minding, or pretending not to mind, what they eat. For my part, I mind my belly very studiously, and very carefully; for I look upon it, that he who does not mind his belly will hardly mind anything else.” – Samuel Johnson
- Crash Diets Help You To Lose Weight Quickly
Myth. Calorie counting in dieting is not the way to go. If you are restricting your calories and food intake to 500-1500 calories per day, and you do not eat a low fat, raw food diet, your body is storing everything you eat as fat. This is a self protective mechanism and not a curse.
Calorie restrictions will only lead to binge eating. It will make you gain weight quickly and gain more when you resume eating because let’s face it, most people cannot live that type of lifestyle forever.
You can eat unlimited, yes I said unlimited, fruits and vegetables during the day. I strongly recommend eating tons of fruits. There is a reason kids prefer fruit to vegetables, fruit is filling and will satisfy natural sugar needs that will help your body function better.
The more fruit and vegetables you eat, the more nutrition you are getting into your body. One apple a day isn’t going to do much for your health. Add 6 apples to your daily diet and now you’re getting somewhere.
Mono-munching is the way to go. Pick one fruit or vegetable and eat, eat, eat. Eat 8 carrot sticks if that’s what you want. Eat 1 whole watermelon in one sitting. This is a usual mono-munch for me.
The idea is not to eat for the sake of eating. Eat real food and indulge yourself in eating as much as you want.
At first you will eat a lot and then your craving and satiety will balance and you simply won’t require as much food. This is then not a diet, it is a way of life. A healthy way of life.
Do not mix this way of eating with also eating processed food. It doesn’t go together and you will only see weight gain instead of the healthy benefits of the fruit and vegetables.

- So-Called Healthy Foods
Avoid bottled orange juice and any bottled pasteurized juice. This process removes fiber and the pasteurization these juices undergo has killed all the enzymes and delicate nutrients. Without these living co-factors, this natural sugar has a negative effect on your body.
If you want juice, make it at home with a juicer or blend fresh veggies and fruit in a Vitamix or NutriBullet. Drink your foods instead of eating for the best and most filling meal ever!
Forget whole wheat. Ignore whole wheat pastas, breads and crackers. Seriously. Whole wheat now causes the same insulin spike as white bread. It is the glucose (sugar) roller coaster that certain foods cause in our body that prevents fat release and actually stores fat.
Wheat has been hybridized and is no longer good for anyone. Plus, most grains are now GMO’d. GMO distorts DNA and your body does not recognize this substance as real food. Most grains, even cereal, are no longer what they used to be.
“The brain is highly sensitive to the wide variety of substances that gain entry to the blood, some of which can provoke undesirable effects should they cross into your amyglada, hippocampus, cerebral cortex, or other brain structure. Once having gained entry into the brain, wheat polypeptides bind to the brain’s morphine receptor, the very same receptor to which opiate drugs bind.” – Quoted from the Wheat Belly book.
“Because of wheat’s incredible capacity to send blood sugar levels straight up, initiate the glucose-insulin roller-coaster ride that drives appetite, generate addictive brain-active exorphins, and grow visceral fat, it is the one essential food to eliminate in a serious effort to prevent, reduce, or eliminate diabetes.” – Quoted from the Wheat Belly book.
Choose Quinoa instead. If you must have bread, choose a sprouted grain bread and eat this sparingly.

- Low Fat Or Non Fat Food Helps You To Lose Weight
False. Completely false. It actually takes ingestion of healthy fats to have your body release stored fats. Healthy fats will increase your metabolic processes and increase your natural fat burning powers.
Your body, and especially your brain, needs adequate amounts of true healthy fat. If you are not feeding your body properly, you body is sucking down the bad fats that are causing disease and disharmony in your body.
The fats that are bad for you are hydrogenated oils, vegetable oils, margarine, canola oil, and butter alternatives.
There is also evidence that has come out in the past several years that says Extra Virgin Olive Oil is actually bad for you (read my article on Olive Oil) when it is combined with the standard American diet. Also most of the olive oils on the market are mixed with health robbing oils like canola oil.
“I think the point is, that if you are going to eat the S.A.D, and add oil onto your processed naan bread on top of that with all the other “food” someone from the S.A.D. would eat, then olive oil will not give you the benefits by just adding it to your diet. He says that the Mediterraneans ate a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables and [pure] olive oil so they “got away with it”. I eat raw (mostly) vegan(always), so I guess my cold pressed olive oil on a spinach green salad is OK. But if I were to drizzle it over potato chips, it’s not the same. So whether they are wrong or right, that is what I got from it. *S.A.D = Standard American Diet “- contributed by AWARE

Forget everything you have heard about butter substitutes and margarine being healthy. It is a lie. Here are the ingredients for a popular margarine brand: vegetable-oil blend, water, whey (milk), salt, vegetable mono & diglycerides, soy lecithin, citric acid, artificial flavors, vitamin A, beta carotene (for color).
Anything that has to be artificially flavored, colored and enhanced is not natural and is not healthy. You may as well be eating plastic. Now imagine these plastic fats being sucked into your brain for use. This is not food. It is a chemical shit-storm (as posted by one member).
The fats that are the very best for you are true olive oil, coconut oil and whole avocado.

- Processed Foods are Enemy #2
Processed sugars are Enemy #1 but running a close second is processed foods. To understand why, here is a quick and simple anatomy lesson.
Your liver is the powerhouse of your body. It is responsible for dismantling chemicals and breaking down fats to be usable and not stored. Your liver’s first function is to break down chemicals because this is seen as a greater threat to your health.
If your liver is busy breaking down chemicals in the food you are eating, it cannot be breaking down the fats at the same time. So really, all that fat you are eating, is being stored.
An easy way to understand what processed foods are is to pick up a box of food and read the ingredients. If there is something on the ingredient list that you cannot identify, does not seem like it should exist in food, or has a chemical sounding name like Yellow Lakes 5 & 6 pass it on by. Your liver will have a hard time breaking this stuff down and it has been proven to be toxic.
Rule of thumb. Look for products that have simple whole food ingredients that are easily identifiable versus lab words such as Thiamin Mononitrate and Monoglycerides. Thiamin Mononitrate is B1 which is found naturally in nuts. It shouldn’t be isolated in an ingredient list.
If you see it this way, that ingredient has been chemically derived and added to a product. The body has a very hard time storing and using chemically derived vitamins and minerals. Your body cannot and will not digest and assimilate these so called nutrients.
Foods that have additives instead of whole foods actually lead to nutritional deficiencies. Nutritional deficiencies are also a leading cause of weight gain.
Conclusion
The simple answer to help you release unwanted fat? Eat whole, natural foods as close to nature as possible. Eat fruit, fruit and more fruit.
On top of that, eat vegetables! Greens are a powerhouse for your body. If you have any room on top of all of that eating, here is a quick tip to help you shop for food:
A rule of thumb is that when you shop at a grocery store, stick to the outside edges. This is where the majority of the healthy foods reside: fruit, vegetables, fresh fish and meat, eggs, etc. Anything on the internal part of the store will usually be processed.
Again, buy organic and if you are an omnivore, look for grass fed, free range and never-fed-corn animal products.
